This short booklet by Awano Makiko on the site by the NPO Tagengo Tadoku introduces you to 8 everyday objects you might encounter while in Japan. What are they called and what are they used for?

There were some objects, that I had seen before, but didn’t know what they were used for. So I learned something knew reading this!
The grammar used is easy even for N5, but the pictures are necessary to understand the vocabulary used here.
Since the NPO Tagengo Tadoku advises to read without a dictionary, this is a good start to practise inferring meaning from context and pictures.
